Each original painting is a one-of-a-kind work by Australian botanical artist Kirsten Katz, created to live beautifully within a home. Owning an original is not about decoration, but connection — choosing a piece you are instantly drawn to, that adds colour, personality and meaning to your everyday space.

Painting is where everything begins for me. Before the prints, the tea towels, the scarves — there is always a painting. It starts with flowers, with colour, with something in the natural world that I can't stop thinking about, and it grows slowly through layers of paint, instinct and decision until it feels resolved.

Each work in this collection is a single, unrepeatable thing. Painted in my Sydney studio, released in small numbers throughout the year. Once a painting finds its home it cannot be replaced or recreated — the colours, the marks, the particular light of the day I made it are fixed in that painting forever.

Nothing is harder to shake than the painting you didn’t buy.
