Meet the Artist: Kirsten Katz
Hello I’m Kirsten — an Australian artist, surface designer, and creative entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for botanical art, expressive colour, and contemporary design.
Inspired by the diverse flora of Australia and the striking beauty of exotic flowers, my work blends painterly detail with modern form to create artwork that’s vibrant, distinctive, and refined.
After studying textile and print design, I began transforming my original paintings into surface patterns and product designs across a wide range of categories — including designer fabrics, home décor, wallpaper, stationery, and stylish gifts.
Today, my artwork is featured on licensed collections around the world and brought to life through my own product lines, each one crafted to bring style, creativity, and meaning into the everyday.
From Passion to Profession
What began as a personal love for painting blossomed into a creative career devoted to bringing art into everyday living.
Starting with fine art prints, my work soon found its way into licensed collections for leading brands — featured across premium fabrics, bespoke wallpapers, curated homewares, and cherished by customers around the world.
Fuelled by a vision to design pieces that are both beautiful and purposeful, I expanded beyond the canvas into a curated range of products.
