Inspiration Behind The Work

My work is inspired by flowers and their structural qualities — from the bold, sculptural form of waratahs and proteas, to the softness of orchids and irises, and the more architectural, three-dimensional shapes found in Australian natives like banksias and bottlebrush. I’m drawn to the way different flowers hold themselves, how their forms interact, and how colour moves through them.

Rather than painting flowers in a literal or botanical way, I interpret these forms through colour, balance, and intuition. Each piece begins as an original painting in the studio, developed slowly through layers and adjustment rather than fixed outcomes. The result is modern floral artwork that feels expressive and grounded — designed to bring colour, beauty, and a distinctive sense of individuality into a space, and to live comfortably in your home over time.

What paper are your art prints printed on?

Prints are produced on premium, heavyweight fine art paper using archival inks for lasting quality.

Do giclee prints last or will they fade?

Giclée prints are produced using archival pigment inks on acid-free fine art paper, selected for their resistance to fading and colour degradation. When framed behind glass or UV-protective acrylic and displayed out of direct sunlight, these materials are designed to remain vibrant for many decades. Under good conditions, industry standards suggest giclée prints can last 100+ years.

Will the colours look the same as on screen?

We take great care to ensure accurate colour reproduction, however colours may appear slightly different depending on individual screen settings, lighting conditions, and the way artwork is displayed in your space. Each print is produced using high-quality archival materials to capture the depth and richness of the original artwork as faithfully as possible.

Do the art prints come framed?

Art prints are sold unframed unless otherwise stated, allowing you to choose a frame that suits your home and interior styling.

Will your prints fit standard frame sizes?

Yes. All art prints are sized to fit standard Australian frame sizes, including A4, A3 and A2. An A4 print will fit an A4 frame, or you can size up to an A3 frame if you’d like to include matting (we recommend going up one frame size when adding matting). Frames are widely available from photography and homeware retailers, or you may choose professional framing for a more tailored finish.

How should I care for my art print?

Giclée art prints on paper should be treated like fine art. Avoid touching the printed surface, as oils from the skin can mark or affect the finish over time — handle by the edges where possible.
