I'm Kirsten Katz — an Australian artist and surface designer based in Sydney. I make modern botanical and abstract wall art, homewares and gifts. Tea Towels That Work as Hard as They Look
My tea towels are made from 100% cotton and measure 50cm x 70cm — a proper working size, not decorative-only. They're printed with my original hand-painted designs featuring Australian native flora, proteas, banksias and birds, and they're durable enough to use every day.
The range includes single towels and sets of two or three. If you're looking for a gift, the sets are particularly popular — they feel generous and considered without being over the top. Wooden Coasters — Eco-Friendly and Beautiful
The wooden coasters are printed using Greenguard Gold certified inks onto ethically sourced and sustainable Australian eucalyptus wood. They measure 100mm in diameter — a solid, practical size — and each set of four features the same botanical designs as the matching tea towels.
The wood grain shows through the print in a way that makes each coaster slightly unique. That variation is part of what makes them feel special. They're designed to protect your surfaces from hot pots, pans and cold beverage condensation — and to look beautiful doing it.
