Australian Native Flora Art — The Botanica Collection
If you've found your way here, chances are you love Australian flowers. Bold colour. Art that feels genuinely made rather than mass produced.
You're in the right place.
The Botanica Collection is my broadest range — a body of work that brings together Australian native flora art across prints, homewares, jewellery, stationery and gifts. Every piece in it starts as an original hand-painted artwork in my Sydney studio. Nothing is digitally illustrated. Nothing is designed on a computer. It's all paint, paper, and the flowers I've been drawing since I was young.
What the Collection Covers
Australian native flora has been my subject for over thirty years. Proteas. Banksias. Waratahs. Gum blossoms. Kangaroo paw. Grevilleas. These are the flowers I return to again and again — not out of habit, but because I genuinely find something new in them every time I paint.
The Botanica Collection spans everything I make that's rooted in this botanical world. Art prints for walls. Tea towels for kitchens. Silk scarves. Wooden earrings and brooches. Greeting card sets. Notebooks. Coasters.
Each product category starts in the same place — an original painting — and is made with quality materials. No synthetic fabrics. No cheap print-on-demand. That standard hasn't changed since I started and it won't.
The Art Prints
The most direct way to bring this work into your home is through the art prints — fine art reproductions of original paintings, printed on quality archival paper in A4, A3 and A2.
These aren't decorative posters. They're reproductions of hand-painted originals, and the difference is visible. The depth of colour. The layering. The brushwork that comes through even in print.
Some of the most loved from this range:
→ Australian Bush Flower Wall Art Print — lush and layered, full of native energy
→ Protea Magnifica Fine Art Print — dramatic, jewel-toned, unmistakably Australian
→ Waratahs Wall Art Print — pure drama, pure colour
→ Bush Bounty Botanical Wall Art Print — rich and warm, one of the most loved in the range
Homewares and Gifts
The collection extends well beyond wall art.
The designer tea towels are one of the most popular ways people bring this work into their everyday lives — something beautiful that gets used every day rather than saved for special occasions. They make one of the most considered gifts you can give someone who loves Australian design.
The silk scarves take the same paintings and translate them into wearable art. The Bush Banksia Silk Scarf and Protea Azure Silk Scarf are both from this collection — designed to be worn, not just admired.
The wooden earrings and brooches are small but personal. Each one is laser-cut from sustainably sourced wood and printed with original artwork. Not mass-produced. Not found anywhere else.
The Named Collections Within the Range
The Botanica Collection is broad by design — it's where everything botanical lives. But within it there are named collections, each with its own distinct identity and story.
Flowers of Oz is my signature collection — painted in 2017 as purely personal work, with no commercial intention. It became my most loved body of work. Bold, expressive, unmistakably hand-painted. If you're new to my work, start here.
Protea Magnifica is the dramatic one — jewel tones, layered compositions, a celebration of the protea in full force.
Garden of Eden is lush and layered — a paradise palette that works beautifully as wall art or as the Garden of Eden silk scarf.
Azure Collection takes the same botanical subject matter and shifts the palette to calm, elegant blues — strong for interior styling.
Each collection has its own character. But they all come from the same place — an original painting, made by hand, in my studio in Sydney.
Where to Start
If you're new to the range and not sure where to begin, I'd suggest starting with the Flowers of Oz Collection — it's the most representative of what I do and the work I'm most proud of.
I've also written the full story of how that collection came to be — why I painted it, what I was trying to do, and what happened when people responded to it. If you want to understand the work before you buy it, that's the place to start.
