Hello, I'm Kirsten

I'm a self-taught botanical artist and textile designer, and I've been painting for more than 28 years. I paint mostly in acrylics, alongside gouache, watercolour and mixed media, and I never plan a painting. I start with colour and let the flowers find their way, happy accidents and all.

My designs have been licensed by brands including Spotlight, Aero Images, John Sands, Vevoke and FreeSpirit Fabrics, and shown at an international art and illustration show in New York. But my originals are where it all begins.
